Bajaj Allianz Life Declares ₹1,833 Cr Bonus for Policyholders in FY25

Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has declared an annual bonus of ₹1,833 crore for participating policyholders for the financial year 2024-25. This marks a 32% increase compared to ₹1,383 crore announced last year.
Over 1.17 Million Policyholders to Benefit
The bonus will apply to over 1.17 million policyholders traditional participating life insurance policies that were in force as of March 31, 2025. These policies entitle holders to a share in the insurer’s surplus, which is distributed in the form of bonuses. The payout will be made at the time of maturity or exit, as per the terms of individual policies.
Special Reversionary Bonus Announced
Apart from the standard bonus, the company has also announced a special reversionary bonus of 5%, amounting to ₹206 crore. This is applicable to select high-equity allocation plans, including:

- Bajaj Allianz Life Flexi Income Goal – Enhanced Benefit
Plans Included Under the Bonus
The annual bonus covers the following traditional participating plans:
- Bajaj Allianz Life Ace
- Bajaj Allianz Life Ace Advantage
- Bajaj Allianz Life Elite Assure

Policy Terms Define Payout Structure
Bonuses will be paid out at maturity or when the policyholder exits the plan. In certain plans, annual cash bonuses may be distributed on policy anniversaries, based on specific policy conditions.
Financial Overview
As of March 31, 2025, the insurer reported:
- Assets under management exceeding ₹1.23 lakh crore
- Individual claim settlement ratio of 99.29%
- Solvency ratio of 359%
- A customer base of over 38.5 million
Conclusion
The ₹1,833 crore bonus will be distributed among policyholders in accordance with their policy terms, continuing the company’s annual practice of declaring bonuses on traditional participating plans. This is the 24th year in a row that Bajaj Allianz Life has declared a bonus for participating policyholders.
