Aye Finance Share Price Falls Over 6% After Q1FY27 Earnings Results: Total Income Up 18.1% YoY

Aye Finance Limited's total income for the June 2026 quarter was ₹489.66 crore, marking an 18.1% year-on-year increase from ₹414.63 crore.
However, this was a 7.9% decline from the previous quarter's ₹531.91 crore.
The net profit for the quarter was ₹74.50 crore, up 143.5% from ₹30.59 crore a year ago, but down 13.3% from ₹85.91 crore in the March 2026 quarter.
For the fiscal year 2026, the company reported a total income of ₹1,844.94 crore and a net profit of ₹193.63 crore.
The Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) stood at 4.49%, while the Net Non-Performing Assets (NNPA) were at 1.67%, both showing a reduction from the previous quarter.
Asset Quality and Credit Costs
The company has seen six consecutive quarters of reduction in credit costs, which were 4.01% in Q1FY27, down from 4.30% in Q4FY26. A credit rating upgrade to INDA+ (Stable Outlook) was received in June 2026, expected to lower borrowing costs.
The Return on Average Assets Under Management (ROAUM) was 4.2% and Return on Equity (RoE) was 11.7%.
On a net worth of ₹2,603 crore, the annualised Earnings Per Share (EPS) for the quarter was ₹12.08. The company increased its Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) by 14 basis points to 63.80% due to geopolitical tensions and El Niño concerns.
Business Growth and Customer Onboarding
The Assets Under Management (AUM) grew by 28% year-on-year from ₹5,721 crore to ₹7,324 crore, driven by a 38% increase in new customer onboarding.
Disbursements increased by 22% year-on-year from ₹1,001 crore to ₹1,219 crore. The company added 44,736 new borrowers in Q1FY27, a 38% year-on-year improvement.

As per the exchange filings, Mr Sanjay Sharma, Managing Director, Aye Finance Ltd, said, “Our Q1 FY27 performance reflects the robustness of our cluster-based underwriting model in serving India's micro-enterprise segment.
We delivered 144% improvement in PAT and 28% growth in AUM YoY, with a 29bps reduction in our credit costs. The improvement in asset quality alongside strong profitable growth demonstrates the management’s philosophy of scaling up with good credit discipline”
