Avaada Group, a leading diversified energy player, has announced the successful commissioning of 11 solar power projects in Yavatmal district, Maharashtra. These projects, implemented under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, aim to provide reliable daytime electricity for irrigation, ensuring sustainable energy support for farmers across the region.

36 MW Solar Capacity Commissioned Across 11 Locations

The newly operational solar plants contribute a combined capacity of 36 MW. Key installations include a 5 MW plant at Mhasola, 4 MW each at Kinhi, Pathrad and Parjana, 3 MW each at Baldi, Dongarkharda, Sawargaon and Sarfali, and 2 MW each at Bansi, Patan and Galwa. These decentralised solar projects are strategically located to serve agricultural needs directly and reduce dependence on conventional power grids.

Empowering Farmers with Daytime Irrigation Power

The MSKVY 2.0 initiative is focused on delivering solar-based electricity during the daytime, specifically to meet irrigation demands. Avaada’s execution of these projects supports Maharashtra’s broader renewable energy ambitions while empowering the agricultural community with sustainable and cost-effective power solutions.
