Ather Energy Limited has expanded its international presence with the launch of the Rizta electric scooter in Sri Lanka at the Colombo Motor Show, strengthening its EV portfolio and distribution network in the region.
Ather Expands Its Electric Scooter Portfolio with the Rizta
The Rizta has been launched in Sri Lanka through Ather’s partnership with Evolution Auto Pvt Ltd. Ather entered the market in December 2024 and has since expanded to 40 Experience Centres across the country.
The company has also deployed Ather Grid fast chargers to support reliable EV ownership. The Rizta offers 34L underseat storage, a spacious floorboard, a 7 inch TFT display, and connected features including Google Maps navigation along with music and call controls on the Rizta Z.
International Growth Strategy Continues
Ather’s international journey began with Nepal in November 2023, where it now operates 9 Experience Centres and 7 Service Centres. The Sri Lanka expansion marks another step in strengthening its global footprint. In India, Ather’s network stood at 524 Experience Centres and 3,643 fast charging points as of September 30, 2025.
