The development broadens the company's client base and marks its entry into state utility-led infrastructure projects.
The scope of work includes capacity enhancement of the Stage-II Coal Handling Plant at the Ukai Thermal Power Station.
The project will be executed on a lump-sum EPC basis, covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
According to the company, the project is expected to be executed over a period of two to three years.
The order is anticipated to strengthen revenue visibility and contribute to the company's mineral infrastructure business during the execution phase.
Asian Energy has established a presence in coal handling infrastructure through projects undertaken for various Coal India subsidiaries, including MCL, ECL, CCL, and SECL, as well as Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
The addition of the GSECL project further expands its order book and strengthens its position in the coal handling infrastructure segment.
