Anthropic announced partnerships with several educational institutions to embed responsible AI curricula and with agricultural organisations to pilot AI solutions for farm management and supply chain optimisation. These initiatives aim to promote ethical AI adoption and enhance productivity in the sector.
India now accounts for nearly 50% of Claude usage for computer and mathematical tasks such as application development and system modernisation. Since the October 2025 expansion announcement, run rate revenue has doubled, reflecting strong demand for AI services in the market.
Anthropic’s Bengaluru office and the announced partnerships illustrate a focused effort to expand AI capabilities in India across multiple sectors, supported by growing usage of Claude and rising revenue figures.
