Amber Enterprises India Ltd has expanded its presence in the electronics segment with its subsidiary, IL JIN Electronics (India) Pvt Ltd, acquiring a majority 60% stake in Power-One Micro Systems Private Limited. The transaction, valued at ₹262 crore, was officially concluded on 5 August 2025 and brings Power-One under the Amber group’s growing operational footprint.
The acquisition positions Power-One Micro Systems as a direct subsidiary of IL JIN and a step-down subsidiary of Amber Enterprises. The move allows Amber to deepen its presence in the power electronics segment, potentially unlocking operational synergies across product design, component sourcing, and technology integration. While the cost consideration is pegged at ₹262 crore, it is subject to customary closing adjustments outlined in definitive agreements.
Amber Enterprises posted a robust financial performance in the first quarter of FY26, with consolidated revenue climbing 43.6% year-on-year to ₹3,449 crore from ₹2,401 crore. The company’s EBITDA rose 31% to ₹257 crore, reflecting strong operational momentum despite margin compression.
Net profit jumped 43.6% to ₹104 crore compared to ₹72.3 crore in the same period last year. However, the operating margin moderated to 7.4% from 8.2% due to higher input costs and product mix.
Amber Enterprises is one of India’s leading manufacturers of room air conditioner components and consumer durable solutions, catering to major domestic and global brands. Through its subsidiaries, it has been steadily diversifying into electronics and mobility segments.
IL JIN Electronics, a key part of Amber’s portfolio, plays a strategic role in the electronics supply chain. Power-One Micro Systems, the newly acquired entity, is known for its capabilities in advanced power electronics, which are expected to complement Amber’s existing ecosystem and future growth plans.
