Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) has announced the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary, Shri Kedarnath Ropeways Limited (SKRL), in India.
The company was incorporated on October 27, 2025, and is registered with the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad. SKRL has a subscribed capital of ₹1,00,000 divided into 10,000 equity shares of ₹10 each, with AEL holding 100% of the share capital.
Business Objective
The primary objective behind incorporating SKRL is to execute the project “Development of the ropeway system from Sonprayag to Kedarnath” in Uttarakhand. The project will be undertaken on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate, and Transfer (DBFOT) model. This initiative aligns with Adani Enterprises’ focus on expanding its footprint in infrastructure development, particularly in the tourism and transport sectors.
Industry and Operations
SKRL will operate in the infrastructure sector, specializing in the development, maintenance, and management of ropeway projects. The project aims to enhance connectivity and convenience for pilgrims and tourists visiting the Kedarnath shrine, reducing travel time and improving safety in the hilly terrain.
