
ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned 16 MW of additional capacity in its 100 MW wind power project in Surendaranagar, Gujarat, following the first phase of 28 MW commissioned in October 2025. This marks the completion of the second phase and brings the project’s operational capacity to 44 MW out of the planned 100 MW.
The commissioning of the second phase was witnessed and confirmed by Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) officials. With this milestone, ACME Solar’s total operational capacity across all its projects has reached 2,934 MW.
The project benefits from the Revised Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) of March 5, 2026, granted by the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) after recognising Force Majeure events under the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
This wind power project is financed through Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and constructed using in-house EPC capabilities. The installation employs SANY 4 MW turbines, ensuring reliable generation. Power from the project will be sold via a 25-year PPA between ACME Eco Clean and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, securing long-term revenue streams for the company.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited operates across solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions. Along with 2,934 MW of operational capacity, it has 4,456 MW under construction, including 13.5 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations. The company’s in-house EPC and O&M teams deliver projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion with strong capacity utilisation factors (CUF) and operating margins.
As of November 20, 2025, at 1:01 PM, ACME Solar Holdings share price was trading at ₹245.35 up by 1.01% from the previous closing price.
The commissioning of the additional 16 MW phase of ACME Solar’s wind power project in Gujarat enhances the company’s renewable energy capacity and demonstrates ongoing growth within its operational portfolio. The project is part of a phased approach to reach 100 MW operational capacity.
