Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has secured major new orders for building power infrastructure, both in India and overseas. These wins reinforce L&T’s strong presence in the global power sector.
In Andhra Pradesh, L&T will build high-voltage 765kV and 400kV transmission lines. These lines are part of a large project aimed at connecting a major Renewable Energy Zone to the national grid. The goal is to improve power transfer and support the country’s green energy goals.
In the Middle East, L&T has bagged orders to build several 220kV and 132kV Gas Insulated Substations. These projects will be delivered on a turnkey basis for top transmission asset owners and will enhance the reliability of the region’s power systems.
These new contracts mark a significant step for L&T in helping clients move toward cleaner, more sustainable energy systems. The company continues to focus on delivering modern, efficient, and future-ready grid infrastructure.
