This IPO was a bookbuilding issue amounting to ₹1,900 crores. The issue is a combination of fresh issue of 4.58 crore shares aggregating to ₹472 crores and offer for sale of 13.86 crore shares aggregating to ₹1,428 crores.
The price band for the Urban Company IPO was set at ₹98 to ₹103 per share, with a minimum application lot size of 145 shares, requiring retail investors to invest at least ₹14,935.
The Urban Company IPO received an overwhelming response, with overall subscription reaching 108.98 times by September 12, 2025 (Day 3, 5:04:43 PM). The retail portion was subscribed 41.49 times, while the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category (excluding anchor investors) saw 147.35 times subscription, and the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) category was subscribed 77.82 times.
