Newly listed Milky Mist Dairy Food Ltd shares have continued their strong performance, hitting a 10% upper circuit for the second consecutive day.  

This sustained momentum in the stock comes after the company’s initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 56.12 times. 

Milky Mist Shares Surge Post-IPO 

Milky Mist Dairy Food Ltd share price gained 10% on August 19, 2026, to reach ₹199.65 by mid-morning.  

Also, on the previous day the share price was closed at ₹181.50, up by 29.64% premium over the initial ₹140 issue price. 

The upward surge in price comes on the back of its massive ₹1,553 crore IPO, which mixed a ₹1,428 crore fresh issue with a ₹125 crore offer-for-sale, marking one of the biggest and most anticipated market entries in the Indian dairy space. 

Investment Allocation 

The proceeds from Milky Mist’s IPO are earmarked for several strategic initiatives. The funds will be utilised for repaying or prepaying borrowings, and the expansion and modernisation of their manufacturing unit in Perundurai, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, the upgrades will include strengthening their cold-chain infrastructure.

Strategic Growth Plans 

Milky Mist is allocating capital towards new product facilities, including those for whey protein concentrate, yoghurt, and cream cheese, while also installing ice cream freezers and chocolate coolers. A portion of the proceeds will cover general corporate purposes.

Founded in Erode, Tamil Nadu, Milky Mist specialises in products like paneer, cheese, curd, yoghurt, butter, ghee, and ice cream, yet does not partake in the liquid milk sector. The company has positioned itself firmly in the non-liquid dairy segment through this diverse product portfolio.

As of August 19, 2026, at 12:46 PM, Milky Mist Dairy Food share price on NSE was trading at ₹199.65, up by 10.00% from the previous closing price.
