Milky Mist Dairy Food has reduced the size of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) to ₹1,553 crore, following a pre-IPO investment by a unit of Singapore-based investment company Temasek. The company's public issue will open for subscription on August 11, 2026, and close on August 13, 2026.
Anchor investors will be able to bid for shares on August 10, 2026, while the company's equity shares are expected to be listed on the BSE and NSE on August 18, 2026.
The revised IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares worth ₹1,428 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹125 crore by promoters Sathishkumar T and Anitha S.
The company has reduced the IPO size from the ₹2,035 crore proposed in its draft papers filed in July 2025. It had received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in October 2025.
The reduction follows a pre-listing investment by a Temasek unit, which acquired a 5.16% stake in Milky Mist through a combination of primary and secondary transactions completed in April 2026.
According to the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP), Temasek's investment included the purchase of newly issued shares and compulsorily convertible preference shares worth ₹357 crore, along with shares worth ₹125 crore acquired from the company's founders.
Based in Tamil Nadu, Milky Mist manufactures dairy products, including paneer, cheese, curd, Greek yoghurt and protein-enriched dairy products. The company said its products are available across more than 3.75 lakh retail outlets in India.
The company is focusing on premium and value-added dairy products to cater to increasing demand from health-conscious consumers.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Milky Mist reported a 176% year-on-year increase in profit to ₹127 crore.
Revenue from operations increased 34% year-on-year to ₹3,138 crore, reflecting continued growth in the company's business.
Milky Mist has revised its IPO size to ₹1,553 crore after a pre-IPO investment by Temasek. The IPO will open on August 11, 2026, with the company raising funds primarily through a fresh issue of shares while promoters will partially dilute their holdings through the offer for sale.
