The proceeds primarily aim to reduce Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited’s debt by up to ₹27,500 crore. The remaining amount is to be utilised towards general corporate purposes.

Jio Platforms enjoys a robust portfolio of institutional investors, including a 9.98% stake by Meta Platforms affiliate Jaadhu Holdings.

Reliance Jio Infocomm serves as the operating subsidiary, leading the telecom sector in India with 506 million mobile customers and 157.9 million fixed-line subscribers.
