On BSE, it similarly listed at ₹320.00, mirroring the stellar opening performance seen on the NSE.

Karamtara Engineering Limited launched a book built issue of ₹875.00 crore, consisting of a fresh issue of 2.66 crore shares valued at ₹675.00 crore and an offer for sale of 78.74 lakh shares valued at ₹200.00 crore.  

The subscription opened on September 9, 2026, and closed on September 11, 2026. The allotment was finalized on September 15, 2026, with a tentative listing scheduled for September 17, 2026, on the BSE and NSE.  

The final issue price is fixed at ₹254 per share with a lot size of 59 shares, requiring a minimum retail investment of ₹14,986. JM Financial Ltd. serves as the book running lead manager, and MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. operates as the registrar.

Business Overview of Karamtara Engineering 

Incorporated in 1996, Karamtara Engineering Limited manufactures products for renewable energy and transmission lines.  

The company serves as a one stop shop for solar structures like fixed tilt systems and trackers, fasteners, and overhead transmission line hardware fittings.  

It operates an integrated model with in house galvanizing facilities boasting a capacity of 258,000 MTPA alongside rolling mill furnaces.  

Expanding its reach, the company is establishing a manufacturing facility for wind turbine tubular towers with operations commencing in the first quarter of fiscal 2026.  

As of March 31, 2026, it exported to over 50 countries and employed 1,015 permanent workers as of March 31, 2024. 

Financial Overview of Karamtara Engineering 

The financial trajectory shows consistent growth from fiscal year 2024 through fiscal year 2026. Total income surged from ₹2,427.12 crore in fiscal 2024 to ₹3,165.36 crore in fiscal 2025, reaching ₹4,316.36 crore by March 31, 2026.  

Profit after tax mirrored this upward trend, rising from ₹102.65 crore in fiscal 2024 to ₹139.33 crore in fiscal 2025, and jumping to ₹228.75 crore in fiscal 2026. EBITDA grew steadily to ₹498.11 crore by the end of fiscal 2026.  

Total assets reached ₹4,142.24 crore while net worth hit ₹1,219.40 crore. However, total borrowings increased substantially to ₹1,030.13 crore in fiscal 2026. 

Objective of Karamtara Engineering IPO 

The company intends to deploy the net proceeds of the issue toward three main requirements.  

The primary allocation involves funding the prepayment, repayment, or payment obligations to lenders for borrowings and acceptances, in part or full, amounting to ₹600.00 crore.  

Additionally, the company will allocate ₹28.39 crore from the proceeds to general corporate purposes to support its ongoing commercial activities.  

The final portion of the raised capital, totaling ₹60.49 crore, will cover the total issue expenses associated with launching and managing the public offering, bringing the total estimated allocation to ₹688.88 crore.
