Mai-Behin Maan Yojana

Mai-Behin Maan Yojana promises ₹2,500 per month (₹30,000 annually) for women in Bihar starting December 1. The scheme will continue for 5 years and aims to provide financial support and independence to women.

Additionally, the bloc plans to launch BETI and MAI schemes to ensure benefits, education, training, income, housing, and food for daughters and mothers. However, specific eligibility criteria have not been mentioned yet.

Mahila Rozgar Yojana (Bihar)

Mukhyamantri Mahila Rozgar Yojana, aimed at creating self-employment opportunities for women in Bihar. Under this scheme, one woman from each family receives an initial financial aid of ₹10,000 via direct bank transfer to start an enterprise.

After 6 months, women who successfully begin their ventures can receive additional assistance of up to ₹2 lakh, based on evaluation. The transfer of funds began in September 2025.
Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be aged 18–60 years.
  • Neither applicant nor her husband should be an income taxpayer or government employee.

  • Offers ₹1,250/month to women aged 21–60 years.
  • Applies to married, widowed, divorced, or abandoned women who are residents of Madhya Pradesh.

  • Provides ₹1,500/month to eligible women aged 21–65 years.
  • Beneficiaries include married, widowed, divorced, or single women from families earning below ₹2.5 lakh annually.
