Birth in Karnataka Category 

Applicants born in Karnataka must submit a Birth Certificate or official hospital discharge/birth registration records. These documents confirm the applicant's birth in the state. 

Ordinary Residence Category 

For those applying based on long-term residence, proof of continuous stay for at least 10 years is required. This can include utility bills, rental/lease history, or local records demonstrating uninterrupted residence. 

Education Category 

Applicants qualifying through education must provide Study Certificates, Marks Cards, or Transfer Certificates from recognised institutions. These documents should prove at least 10 academic years of study in Karnataka up to Class XII or II PUC. 

Residential Property Category 

Those applying through property ownership need to present Title Deeds, Khata Certificates, or current Property Tax Paid Receipts. These documents must prove ownership, possession, or lawful occupation of residential property in Karnataka. 

Government / Public Employment Category 

Applicants or their parents who are public servants must provide Service Certificates or official employment records. These should confirm at least 7 years of service in a Government body, local authority, or public institution in Karnataka. 

Marriage Category 

Applicants applying based on marriage must submit a Marriage Certificate and their spouse's valid Karnataka PRC or records proving their spouse's permanent residency eligibility.
