Tonino Lamborghini to Enter Chennai's Luxury Housing Market with Premium ECR Residences

Italian luxury lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini is stepping into Chennai's luxury housing sector through its partnership with GTB Developers, as per the news report.  

Their new project, Republic of Nature, will feature premium residences on the East Coast Road (ECR). 

Republic of Nature: Addressing Ultra-Luxury Demand 

Planned for a November 13, 2026, launch, The Republic of Nature will comprise 106 apartments and 23 villas. The apartments span 3,750 sq ft to 7,000 sq ft, priced between ₹6 crore and ₹11 crore, while the villas range from 9,750 sq ft to 13,500 sq ft, priced from ₹18 crore to ₹28 crore. 

With increasing demand for high-end residences in Chennai, GTB Developers report significant interest from businesspeople, celebrities, and NRIs. Arun Bharathi Arunachalam, Managing Director of GTB Developers, has stated that the necessary approvals for this project are awaited. 

Unique Features and Collaborations 

The project is notable for its 11.5-acre development, including a 3.5-acre man-made lagoon, a first in India, developed in collaboration with a Dubai-based lagoon specialist. A 20,000 sq ft recreational area styled like a private beach will also be available to residents. 

The project is located close to seaside attractions along the ECR, near the Sheraton Grand Resort. A SeleQtions hotel by Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) is also a part of the Republic of Nature development. 

Tonino Lamborghini's Mark in Indian Real Estate 

The association with Tonino Lamborghini enhances the project's profile, bringing in the brand's design and luxury credentials. This move follows similar international collaborations in India's high-end residential sector, with Tonino Lamborghini also entering Gurugram earlier.

The Republic of Nature is slated for phased development, pending approval for its launch and foundation stone-laying ceremony. This project signifies GTB Developers' investment in Chennai's ultra-luxury housing market.
