Indian Startups Raise $151.5 Million Across 14 Deals This Week; Yulu Leads Funding!

Indian startups raised $151.5 million across 14 deals between August 10 and 15, 2026, as per an Entrackr news report. The total included $103.5 million from two growth-stage deals and $48 million from 11 early-stage deals. One round was undisclosed.
Funding was lower than the previous week, when 28 startups raised about $383.8 million.
Major Funding Rounds
Yulu raised $93 million in Series C, including $63 million in equity led by GEF Capital Partners and $30 million in debt. Centricity raised $30 million in Series A from SMBC Asia Rising Fund.
Bakingo raised $10.5 million in Series B from existing investor Faering Capital. Discovered Materials raised $9 million in seed funding led by Lightspeed India Partners. Scrubsy raised about $3 million from V3 Ventures.
Ayati Devices raised $1.5 million in pre-Series A funding led by Inflexor Ventures. Other companies that raised money included Wippi, Lane and Vecton AI.
Deal Distribution Across Cities
As. per the report, Bengaluru accounted for 10 deals. Delhi-NCR recorded two, while Pune and Chennai had one each.
Seed and pre-seed rounds had four deals each. Series A and pre-Series A recorded two each, while Series B and Series C had one each.
Acquisitions and ESOP Buyback
GalaxEye acquired Bengaluru-based StarOps, a spacecraft engineering company. Redcliffe Labs acquired Pune-based Megavision Diagnostics Center for around ₹40 crore.
Astrotalk reached a $1 billion valuation through an ESOP buyback involving more than 100 employees. The week also included five key hires, one departure and two M&A deals.
Funds and Results
Accel raised a $550 million India-focused early-stage fund. Aum Ventures announced a ₹225 crore first close, MAVI India closed ₹1,125 crore for its second opportunity fund and Bluehill.VC closed its maiden ₹400 crore fund.
BlackSoil deployed ₹750 crore across 40 companies through its second credit fund. Lenskart posted ₹2,714 crore revenue and ₹228 crore profit, while Info Edge reported ₹881 crore revenue and ₹490 crore profit.
