Oil marketing companies have revised the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders from October 1, 2025. The hike, ranging up to ₹16, will affect key metropolitan cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. However, there is no change in the domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinder prices.

Commercial LPG Cylinders Now Costlier Across Major Cities

As of October 1, 2025, the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹1,595.50 in Delhi, up from ₹1,580 - a ₹15.50 increase. In Kolkata, the price rose by ₹16, taking it from ₹1,684 to ₹1,700. Mumbai saw a hike from ₹1,531.50 to ₹1,547, and in Chennai, the rate increased from ₹1,738 to ₹1,754, also a rise of ₹16.

This price revision comes just ahead of the festival season and could impact the hospitality sector, including restaurants, catering businesses, and food vendors that rely heavily on commercial LPG cylinders for daily operations.

Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices Remain Unchanged

There is no change in the prices of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders widely used by households. The rates remain stable across major metros: ₹853 in Delhi, ₹852 in Mumbai, ₹879 in Kolkata, and ₹868 in Chennai. The current domestic cylinder prices are in the range of ₹850 to ₹960 in most Indian cities.

19 kg Commercial Cylinder Prices:

  • Delhi: ₹1,595.50
  • Kolkata: ₹1,700
  • Mumbai: ₹1,547
  • Chennai: ₹1,754

14.2 kg Domestic Cylinder Prices:

  • Delhi: ₹853
  • Kolkata: ₹879
  • Mumbai: ₹852
  • Chennai: ₹868
