Ageas Federal Life Insurance Launches Multi-Currency Plan at GIFT City

Ageas Federal Life Insurance has launched the Aurum Advantage Plan at GIFT City, allowing customers to invest in three currencies while receiving life insurance protection. The launch also marks the company's start of operations at the international financial services hub in Gujarat.
The plan is open to customers of any nationality, including NRIs, OCIs and PIOs, regardless of residential status, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
Investment Options Across Three Currencies
Aurum Advantage is a Unit Linked Insurance Plan (ULIP) that allows customers to choose between US dollars, euros and British pounds. Its investment options include international equities, fixed income and gold.
The minimum investment amount is $3,000, €3,000 or £3,000, depending on the currency selected. The plan also offers multiple premium payment options and fund strategies.
Partial Withdrawals Available Without Lock-In
The plan allows partial withdrawals without a lock-in period. It also provides maturity benefits, loyalty additions and death benefits, subject to the policy terms.
Ageas Federal Life Insurance Managing Director and CEO Jude Gomes said customers with international financial interests are seeking investment options across currencies and markets. He said the new plan combines these options with life insurance protection.
Company Plans More Products at GIFT City
Through its GIFT City operations, the insurer plans to serve customers in the Middle East, North America, Europe, the UK, Singapore and Australia.
The company also plans to add term insurance and pension products to its portfolio at GIFT City in the near future.
