Gold prices remained firm across major Indian cities on December 16, 2025, while silver prices declined in domestic markets during morning trade.

Gold prices traded steady across key Indian cities on December 16, 2025, reflecting stable domestic demand. As per the latest updates, 24-carat gold was priced above ₹1.33 lakh per 10 grams in major markets, while 22-carat gold hovered near ₹1.22 lakh per 10 grams.

Silver prices, however, witnessed a decline across cities, falling by up to 1.14% during early trade. The weakness in silver was visible across all major consumption centres as of mid-morning.
