Gold and Silver Rates in Major Cities

Gold prices across major South Indian cities showed a mild decline on Friday, April 10, 2026, as of 10:50 AM (India time). 

In Thiruvananthapuram, gold was priced at ₹1,53,170 per 10 grams, down ₹700 (-0.45%), while silver stood at ₹2,44,310 per kg, falling ₹480 (-0.20%). 

Similarly, in Chennai, gold rates were ₹1,53,150 per 10 grams, also lower by ₹700 (-0.45%), with silver at ₹2,44,270 per kg, down ₹490 (-0.20%). 

In Hyderabad, gold was slightly lower at ₹1,52,940 per 10 grams, declining ₹710 (-0.46%), while silver prices were ₹2,43,950 per kg, down ₹490 (-0.20%). 

Conclusion

Overall, the trend across these cities indicates a consistent softening in precious metal prices. Investors and buyers may continue to closely monitor market developments as precious metal prices remain sensitive to economic and geopolitical factors.
