Closing Bell: Sensex and Nifty 50 Snapped Their 2 Days Gaining Streak

On November 26, 2024, both the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended lower. The BSE Sensex closed at 80,004.06, down by 105.79 points or 0.13%. Similarly, the Nifty50 also closed at 24,194.50, down by 27.40 points or 0.11%.
Sectoral Performance
Nifty IT and Nifty FMCG were the most gaining sectors with a rise of 1.07% and 0.84%, respectively. On the flip side, Nifty Auto and Nifty Pharma slipped 1.28% and 0.97%, respectively.
Top Gainers and Losers
On Monday, the top gainers on the Nifty included Shriram Finance, Britannia, Asian Paints, BEL and Infosys. In contrast, Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Ultratech Cements, Bajaj Auto and Sun Pharma were the top losers.
