About Sathya Agencies Limited
Sathya Agencies Limited was originally incorporated as Sathya Agencies Private Limited on February 24, 2005, under the Companies Act, 1956. The company was subsequently converted into a public limited company pursuant to resolutions passed by its Board and shareholders on February 27, 2026, and its name was changed to Sathya Agencies Limited. A fresh certificate of incorporation was issued on March 6, 2026.
The company is one of South India's leading consumer electronics and home appliance retailers, offering a wide range of products including televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, mobile phones, IT products, kitchen appliances and personal care devices through a multi-brand retail model. It partners with more than 150 domestic and international OEMs and distributors to provide customers with a wide product portfolio across multiple price segments.
Sathya Agencies Limited operates an extensive retail network spread across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry. As of January 31, 2026, the company had 427 stores supported by 22 warehouses, enabling efficient inventory management and product distribution across its operating regions. The company derives the overwhelming majority of its revenue through its physical retail stores, supported by an omni-channel approach.
The company has expanded both organically and inorganically to strengthen its market position. In July 2025, it acquired 100% of Unilet Appliances Private Limited for ₹1,400 million, significantly strengthening its presence in Karnataka and broadening its regional footprint across South India.
Sathya Agencies Limited focuses on expanding its retail network, enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening relationships with leading consumer electronics brands and improving inventory management through technology-driven processes. By leveraging its strong regional brand presence, extensive store network and deep penetration in Tier-2 and smaller cities, the company aims to capitalise on the growing demand for consumer durables and electronics in South India.
