About Jagatjit Agri Engineering

It is an Indian manufacturer of agricultural machinery operating under the ‘Jagatjit’ brand since the 1980s. It makes agricultural implements that help farmers across different stages of farming, including land preparation, sowing, harvesting, and crop-residue management.

Its product portfolio includes 20+ products and 190+ SKUs, such as Super Seeders, Straw Reapers, rotavators, mulchers, zero-till seed-cum-fertiliser drills, and laser land levellers. These implements help farmers improve operational efficiency and adopt mechanised farming practices.

The company also provides green energy solutions by converting agricultural residue into biomass briquettes and pellets. This supports sustainable residue management and provides farmers with an additional potential source of income.

It operates 2 manufacturing facilities in Punjab, located in Dehlon (Ludhiana) and Cheema (Sangrur). The company also undertakes research and development to develop new products, improve existing equipment, and address farmers' evolving requirements.

According to the CARE Industry Report, the company is India's third-largest homegrown agricultural implement manufacturing and engineering company by FY2026 revenue. It has an estimated 13% share of the Indian Straw Reaper market by value and a notable presence in the Super Seeder market in states such as Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab.
