Bharat PET Limited was incorporated as a public limited company on January 23, 1998, under the Companies Act, 1956 and commenced operations on February 20, 1998. The company is headquartered in New Delhi and is promoted by Deepak Gupta, Ankur Gupta and Rahul Gupta.
The company is engaged in the manufacturing of rigid plastic and metal packaging products, catering to a diverse range of industries including agrochemicals, food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, paints and industrial chemicals, and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). Its product portfolio includes PET bottles and jars, multi-layer co-extrusion (Co-Ex) bottles, PET preforms, tin containers, caps and closures.
Bharat PET operates 4 manufacturing facilities located in Sonipat (Haryana), Delhi, Ankleshwar (Gujarat) and Jammu through its subsidiary, BPL Lifescience Private Limited. As of September 30, 2025, the company had an installed manufacturing capacity of 39,262.75 MTPA and offered over 4,263 SKUs supported by more than 500 moulds.
The company has built longstanding relationships with several marquee customers, including Tata Consumer Products Limited, Daawat Foods Limited, Dhanuka Agritech Limited, PI Industries Limited and India Pesticides Limited. Agrochemicals constitute its largest end-user segment, contributing a significant share of revenue.
