Industry Outlook

Strengths and Opportunities of ABH Healthcare IPO

  1. The hospital offers services across 25 clinical specialties and serves a diverse mix of self-paying patients, private insurance customers and beneficiaries of government healthcare schemes, helping reduce dependence on any single specialty or payer.
  2. Its operational infrastructure includes a computerised physician order entry system, an electronic health records platform and advanced medical equipment, including cath labs, CT and MRI scanners and a neurosurgery microscope.
  3. The hospital has been NABH-accredited since 2021 and received NABH Digital Standards accreditation in FY 2025, strengthening its position as a tertiary-care healthcare provider in the region.

Risks and Threats of ABH Healthcare IPO

  1. The company generates all its revenue from its single hospital in Ferozepur, Punjab, making it vulnerable to local economic, political or operational disruptions that could materially impact its overall revenue.
  2. ABH Healthcare relies significantly on its promoters and key medical professionals. With only 29 doctors as of March 31, 2025, the departure of senior clinicians could affect its clinical operations.
  3. The company does not own the premises used for its registered office and hospital. Any loss or termination of these leased properties could disrupt its healthcare services.
  4. Part of the company’s revenue comes through government healthcare schemes and third-party payers. Delays, changes or disruptions in these arrangements could affect collections and cash flows.
