Profit Margin Expansion

A key metric in finance, the net profit margin is an indicator of a company's profitability. In the long-term, it reflects the ratio of a company's net profit margin in the most recent quarter to the previous fiscal year. In the short-term, it compares the net profit margin in the latest quarter to the previous quarter. This measure can provide valuable insights into a company's financial performance and overall health.
