Issuing (or opening) bank

A crucial aspect of international trade involves the buyer's bank, which is responsible for establishing a documentary credit upon the buyer's request. This credit is in favor of the beneficiary, also known as the seller or exporter. The buyer's bank, also referred to as the opening bank, plays a significant role in facilitating smooth transactions between the buyer and seller in the global market.
