Documents against acceptance (D/A)

In finance, the transfer of ownership of goods is accompanied by the delivery of documents to the buyer, known as the drawee. These documents are only handed over once the buyer accepts a draft that guarantees payment on a future date. This process is crucial in maintaining a secure and efficient flow of goods in the market. It allows for a mutually beneficial transaction between the buyer and seller.
