About The Role
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Linux systems, automation, coding proficiency in Python and Golang, and extensive experience in managing and optimizing complex infrastructure. As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems through automation, monitoring, and efficient troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Linux/Shell Scripting:
– Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and expertise in Linux systems.
– Proficiency in shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
2. Automation using Ansible:
– Design, implement, and manage automation workflows using Ansible.
– Streamline and automate operational processes to enhance system reliability.
3. Coding Skills:
– Strong coding skills in Python and Golang for system automation and tool development.
– Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools and scripts.
4. Kafka Setup and Development:
– Hands-on experience with setting up and developing applications using Kafka.
– Ensure the reliability and performance of Kafka clusters.
5. SQL and Database Management:
– Solid experience working with SQL, particularly with databases like Postgres.
– Optimize and troubleshoot database performance issues.
6. Observability Setup:
– Establish and maintain observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
– Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance.
7. Log Analytics:
– Proficient in working with log analytics platforms like Graylog, Loki, ELK stack.
– Analyze logs to identify and resolve issues proactively.
8. Data Pipelines:
– Knowledge of building and maintaining data pipelines using Kafka Connect and Apache Flink SQL.
– Ensure the efficiency and reliability of data processing pipelines.
9. OLAP Databases:
– Familiarity with OLAP databases like Clickhouse, Apache Doris, etc.
– Optimize and maintain OLAP databases for efficient data retrieval.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role.
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
