Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 14 February, 2024

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 554 points or 0.77% at 71,000 while the Nifty-50 down around 150 points or 0.69% at 21,594. About 1,600 shares have advanced, 1,522 declined and 95 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Axis Bank and ITC Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tech Mahindra Ltd, Wipro Ltd and HDFC Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.1% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.35%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Macrotech Developers Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Xchanging Solutions Ltd and Themis Medicare Ltd

The BSE Oil & Gas Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Oil & Gas Index soared 0.40% led by Petronet LNG Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index was down 1.60% dragged down by Nucleus Software Ltd and Infosys Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: SJVN Ltd, Sunrise Efficient Marketing Ltd and ITD Cementation Ltd.
