JBM Auto Limited has announced significant expansions through its subsidiaries in the electric vehicle (EV) sector.
JBM Electric Vehicles Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JBM Auto, has successfully incorporated a new entity, JBM Electric Vehicles International PTE Ltd, in Singapore. This strategic move aims to bolster the company’s presence in the international automotive market, focusing on electric vehicles. The new company has an authorised and issued share capital of SGD 20,000, representing 20,000 shares valued at SGD 1 each. JBM Electric Vehicles Private Limited holds 100% ownership of this newly formed subsidiary.
Additionally, JBM Ecolife Mobility Private Limited, which operates as a joint venture/subsidiary of JBM Auto, has incorporated another wholly owned subsidiary named Ecolife Mobility Odisha Private Limited (EMOPL). The incorporation was officially recognised on September 25, 2024, at 12:03 PM by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. EMOPL has an authorised share capital of ₹15,00,000 and a paid-up share capital of ₹5,00,000.
Ecolife Mobility Odisha Private Limited is established to operate, run, and maintain electric buses, primarily serving government and State Transport Undertakings (STUs). With JBM Ecolife Mobility Private Limited holding 100% of the shares, this subsidiary aims to enhance the company’s role in promoting sustainable transportation solutions within the state.
These strategic expansions reflect JBM Auto Limited’s commitment to leading the transition towards electric mobility, catering to the growing demand for sustainable transport solutions both domestically and internationally. The establishment of these subsidiaries positions JBM Auto as a key player in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle market, contributing to India’s broader objectives of sustainability and eco-friendliness in the automotive sector.
