SPDR S&P 500 Growth ETF (the Fund), formerly SPDR Dow Jones Large Cap Growth ETF, focuses to provide investment results, which correspond to the total return performance of an index tracks the performance of exchange traded the equity securities. The SPDR S&P 500 Growth ETF matches the returns and characteristics of the S&P 500 Growth Index (the Index). The S&P 500 Growth Index measures the performance of the growth sector in the United States equity market. The selection universe for the S&P 500 Index includes all the United States common equities. In seeking to track the performance of the Index, the Fund employs a replication strategy. The Fund’s investment sector includes information technology, consumer discretionary, health care, consumer staples, energy, financials, materials and telecommunication services. SSgA Funds Management, Inc. acts as investment advisor of the Fund.
