The Company offers customers a portfolio of services using its own truckload fleet and third-party carriers through its non-asset-based truck brokerage network. The Company operates through two segments: Truckload and Brokerage. The Truckload segment offers asset-based truckload services, including the over-the-road (OTR) and dedicated contract services. Its OTR service offering provides solo and expedited team services through one-way movements of freight over routes throughout the United States. Its Brokerage segment is principally engaged in non-asset-based freight brokerage services, where loads are contracted to third-party carriers. The Company's fleet consists of approximately 7,200 tractors and approximately 14,400 trailers, including approximately 1,000 tractors provided by independent contractors. It primarily operates in the eastern half of the United States.
