Waaree Solar Americas, the wholly owned U.S.-based subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd., has announced the receipt of a significant international order for the supply of solar modules. The order was received on June 27, 2025, from a prominent U.S. entity that develops and operates utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. This marks a major development in Waaree’s global operations as it continues to serve large-scale clean energy demands beyond India.
The contract awarded is for a total of 540 megawatts (MW) of solar modules. This supply order is structured into 2 key phases: 270MW of modules are to be delivered within the calendar year 2025, and the remaining 270MW are scheduled to be supplied between the years 2027 and 2028.
The nature of the contract is one-time, indicating a focused, large-scale delivery commitment from Waaree Solar Americas. This contract is a result of direct engagement with the international customer, who is a developer and operator of utility-scale energy projects in the United States.
In recent weeks alone, the company has secured several substantial orders in the US, including module supply deals for 586 MW and 599 MW. Waaree is also set to significantly expand its manufacturing capabilities, with plans to double its Brookshire, Texas facility's capacity to 3.2 GW by the end of 2025.
The customer awarding this contract is an international entity, with no links to the promoter, promoter group, or group companies of Waaree Energies Ltd. There is no related party involvement in this transaction. The order has been received independently through the subsidiary and involves a direct supply agreement with the U.S.-based firm. The agreement solely pertains to the supply of solar modules and does not involve installation or after-sales services.
This development adds to Waaree Energies Ltd.’s expanding portfolio of international supply contracts through its global subsidiaries and represents an important milestone in delivering large-scale energy solutions to overseas markets.
