Top Gainers of the Day: Trent, Infosys, TCS Lead Market Rally on December 5, 2024

The benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50, continued their winning streak for the 5th straight session on Thursday, recovering from early losses to close in positive territory. The Sensex climbed 809.53 points, or 1%, to finish at 81,765.86 after trading within a range of 80,467.37 to 82,317.74 during the day.

Similarly, the NSE Nifty50 rose 240.95 points, or 0.98%, to close at 24,708.40. The index touched a high of 24,857.75 during intra-day trade, while its lowest point was 24,295.55.

• Trent Ltd

Trent Ltd share price closed today at ₹7,050.00, marking a rise of 3.31%.

• Infosys Ltd

Infosys share price closed today at ₹1,935.00, marking a rise of 2,42%. On December 4, Infosys announced a partnership with Switzerland-based intralogistics solutions company Kardex to enhance its business operations using SAP S/4HANA. Infosys will utilise its cloud platform, Infosys Cobalt, to integrate and streamline Kardex’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across more than 30 countries. This collaboration aims to improve Kardex’s operational efficiency and scalability.

• Tata Consultancy Services

Tata Consultancy Services share price closed today at ₹4,455.15, marking a rise of 2.31%. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) is gaining for the fifth consecutive session.

• Titan Company

Titan Company share price closed today at ₹3,438.10, marking a rise of 2.19%. 

• Dr Reddy’s Laboratories

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories share price closed today at ₹1,242.00, marking a rise of 2.18%.
