Mutual Funds Acquire Suzlon Shares

As per a news report, Suzlon Energy, a leading wind energy solutions provider, saw its shares acquired by two mutual funds in November.

Suzlon-Jindal Renewables Expand Wind Partnership

Last week, Suzlon Energy announced that it has strengthened its collaboration with Jindal Renewables by securing an additional 302.4 MW wind power project in Karnataka’s Koppal region.

This project is aimed at accelerating India’s green steel production and brings the total cumulative capacity from Jindal Renewables to 702.4 MW, marking Suzlon’s largest-ever commercial and industrial (C&I) order from a single customer.

The expansion follows a 400 MW captive wind power project secured by Suzlon last month in the same region.

With this continued partnership, C&I customers now account for 56% of Suzlon’s total order book, which has reached a record 5.4 GW, the company’s highest-ever order book to date.
