Insolation Energy Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bondada Engineering Limited.
The agreement relates to the supply of solar modules under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers, covering both ALMM-I and ALMM-II categories in line with the Make in India initiative.
The MoU has been executed for the calendar period beginning January 2027 and ending December 2028. Under this arrangement, Insolation Green Energy will act as a priority supplier of solar modules to Bondada Engineering for its upcoming solar power projects across India.
The understanding has been signed in anticipation of the implementation of ALMM-II, which is expected to strengthen domestic manufacturing and secure supply chains.
As per the disclosure, there is no equity shareholding between the two parties. The agreement focuses solely on the supply of domestically manufactured solar cells and modules in compliance with ALMM guidelines.
No special rights such as appointment of directors, first right to share subscription or restrictions on capital structure have been granted under the MoU.
The partnership is aligned with the government’s emphasis on local production of renewable energy equipment. By positioning Insolation Green Energy as a preferred supplier, the agreement provides revenue visibility for the company and supports Bondada Engineering in sourcing compliant modules for its projects.
The arrangement is expected to strengthen the domestic solar ecosystem and reduce dependence on imports.
Bondada Engineering is actively expanding its presence in the renewable energy space, while Insolation Energy has been scaling up its module manufacturing capacity. The collaboration is expected to create long-term synergies, enabling timely execution of solar projects and adherence to evolving regulatory norms under ALMM.
On January 16, 2026, Bondada Engineering share price opened at ₹326.80, touching the day’s high at ₹327.95, as of 10:54 AM on the NSE.
