Vishal Mega Mart Share Price Jumps 4.15% on Listing Day

The hypermarket chain, Vishal Mega Mart IPO opened for subscription on December 11, 2024 and ended on December 13, 2024.

As of Day 3, December 13, 2024, 6:19 PM, Vishal Mega Mart IPO was subscribed 28.75 times. QIBs subscribed 85.11x, NIIs subscribed 15.01x, and retail investors subscribed 2.43x.
The share allotment was finalised on December 16, 2024, and the shares were listed on BSE and NSE on December 18, 2024.
On the listing day, on the NSE, Vishal Mega Mart share price opened at ₹104.00, up from its issue price of ₹78. At 10:54 AM, the share price was trading at ₹108.32, up by 4.15% from its opening price of ₹104.00. As of the same time, the stock touched its day’s high at ₹111.19. The company’s market cap was ₹48,838.45 crore.
On the BSE, at 10:57 AM, the share price was trading at ₹108.36, down by 1.49% from its opening price of ₹110.00 and 38.92% up from its issue price of ₹78.
