Anil Ambani’s Reliance Power, Reliance Infra Deny Financial Impact of ED Raids,

On July 24, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at several properties in Mumbai connected to Anil Ambani in relation to a money laundering investigation. Despite this, Reliance Power and Reliance Infrastructure clarified that the ED’s actions will have no impact on their financial position or day-to-day business activities.
No Links with RCom or RHFL, Say Companies
In separate filings, both companies clarified:
- The media coverage pertains to past matters connected to Reliance Communications (RCom) and Reliance Home Finance (RHFL).
- No business or financial connections exist between Reliance Power/Infra and those two entities.
- RCom has been under insolvency proceedings for over 6 years.
- The issue related to RHFL has already been settled by the Supreme Court.
Anil Ambani Not on Reliance Infra Board
Reliance Infrastructure highlighted that Anil Ambani is not a board member, and therefore, the ED actions against RCom or RHFL have no effect on its governance or business.

What ED Is Investigating
According to PTI:
- Over 35 locations in Mumbai and Delhi were searched, including about 50 companies and 25 individuals.
- The ED (Enforcement Directorate) is looking into illegal loan diversions between 2017–2019.
- There are allegations of bribe-for-loan deals involving Yes Bank promoters and ADAG companies.
- The probe involves reports from the CBI, SEBI, NHB, NFRA, and Bank of Baroda.
Reliance Power Share Price Movement
As of July 25 at 9:20 AM IST, Reliance Power share price (NSE: RPOWER) is trading at ₹56.78, down 5% or ₹2.99 for the day. The stock opened and hit a low at ₹56.78, while the intraday high was ₹58.27. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹23,490 crore, a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 7.39, and does not currently offer a dividend yield. Over the past 52 weeks, RPOWER has touched a high of ₹76.49 and a low of ₹28.25.
Reliance Infrastructure Share Price Movement
As of July 25 at 9:23 AM IST, Reliance Infrastructure share price (NSE: RELINFRA) is trading at ₹341.85, down 5% or ₹18.00 for the day. The stock opened, hit its high, and touched its low at the same price of ₹341.85. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹13,950 crore and a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 2.83. It currently does not offer a dividend yield. Over the past 52 weeks, RELINFRA has reached a high of ₹423.40 and a low of ₹179.25.
Conclusion
