Shakti Pumps Share Price Rises 4.48%; Secures MEDA Order for Solar Water Pumps
Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has received a significant Letter of Award from the Maharashtra Energy Department Agency (MEDA).
The order involves the supply and commissioning of 4,500 Off-grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across various locations in Maharashtra. This initiative falls under the Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme, an MNRE-backed program aimed at promoting solar-powered irrigation in India.
Scope of Work and Execution Timeline
The contract covers the design, manufacturing, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar pumping systems. The company has been given a strict timeline of 90 days from the issuance of the work order to complete the project.
Project Value and Significance
The total value of the order stands at approximately ₹114.58 crore (inclusive of GST). This deal marks a significant addition to Shakti Pumps' renewable energy project portfolio and strengthens its position in the solar water pumping segment.

On June 12, 2025, Shakti Pumps share price opened at ₹970.60, up from its previous close of ₹964.80. At 10:57 AM, the share price of Shakti Pumps was trading at ₹1,008.00, up by 4.48% on the NSE.
