In a strategic move to strengthen its foothold in Maharashtra, Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has entered into 2 license agreements for upcoming properties in Navi Mumbai and Jalgaon. The newly signed hotels—Lemon Tree Premier, Navi Mumbai and Lemon Tree Hotel, Jalgaon—will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary. This development is in line with Lemon Tree’s long-term expansion strategy across prominent and emerging destinations in India.
The Lemon Tree Premier in Navi Mumbai will offer 67 well-appointed rooms and an array of premium amenities, including a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, fitness centre, and other public spaces. The property is strategically located approximately 24 km from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and 21 km from Panvel Railway Station, with strong connectivity via public and private transport.
On the other hand, the Lemon Tree Hotel in Jalgaon is set to feature 100 well-appointed rooms, along with a restaurant, banquet, meeting room, spa, swimming pool, fitness centre and other facilities. Jalgaon Airport is just 4.3 km away and the railway station is around 5.4 km from the hotel, ensuring ease of access for guests.
Mr. Kapil Sharma, Executive Vice President - Finance & Chief Financial Officer of Lemon Tree Hotels, stated, “We are pleased to strengthen our presence in Maharashtra with the signing of these 2 new properties. These additions reinforce our growing footprint in the state, where we currently operate 14 hotels and have seven more under development. It also reflects our continued commitment to strategic expansion across key markets.”
