The IRCTC website and app are down again, leaving many passengers unable to book Tatkal tickets. When users tried to access the platform, they encountered an error message saying, “Booking and cancellation for all sites will not be available for the next hour. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
The problem began around 10 am today, making it the second such outage in a week, with a similar issue reported on December 26.
Downdetector, a platform that tracks online outages, reported a sharp increase in complaints this morning. About 700 users highlighted difficulties accessing the IRCTC services.
Many passengers took to social media to convey their dissatisfaction, with some alleging system manipulation. As of now, IRCTC has not commented on the issue, leaving users waiting for an official response.
