Founded in 1981 and based in Bengaluru, India, Infosys Limited is a prominent global provider of IT services and consultancy. Established by N.R. Narayana Murthy along with six co-founders, the company operates in more than 50 countries and employs over 350,000 people as of 2024, reporting revenues of $18.21 billion for the fiscal year 2023-24.

Infosys Partnered With Google Cloud Technology

In order to provide AI-driven solutions utilising Infosys Topaz and Google Cloud technology, Infosys has unveiled the establishment of a Google Cloud centre of excellence, powered by Infosys Topaz. This centre is designed to act as a catalyst for innovative enterprise AI initiatives, aiding businesses in leveraging generative AI to drive transformative growth.

Sharing Data Analytics and AI Solutions

Infosys and Google Cloud have a robust partnership founded on their shared history of providing groundbreaking data analytics and AI solutions, which have enhanced customer success. To date, Infosys has upskilled over 60,000 employees on Google Cloud. 

By merging the capabilities of Infosys Topaz AI and Infosys Cobalt cloud services with Google Cloud’s generative AI technology, the newly established centre of excellence will tackle intricate challenges across both business and technological realms through innovative enterprise AI solutions. 

Collaboration Between Infosys and Google Cloud For AI Services

This collaboration will foster an environment conducive to co-creating tailored solutions in areas such as AI for contact centres, the software development lifecycle, agentic AI, speech-to-speech, text-to-image transformation, and application modernisation, all aimed at bolstering efficiency and business performance.

Infosys Q2 FY25 Results

In Q2 FY25, Infosys announced a year-on-year revenue increase of 5.1%, reaching ₹40,986 crore, while net profit rose by 4.7% to ₹6,506 crore. The operating margin held steady at 21.1%. Basic earnings per share improved by 4.7% to ₹15.71. 

Infosys Ltd. Share Price Performance 

The share price of Infosys Ltd. was ₹1,973.10 at 9:15 AM on the NSE today. The share price is approaching ₹2,006.45, the 52-week mark.
