Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has announced the signing of two significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) during an official delegation visit to Sweden and Denmark. These strategic partnerships aim to strengthen GRSE’s presence in the global marine and shipbuilding sectors.
In a major development, GRSE has inked an MoU with Berg Propulsion, Sweden, a renowned global leader in the design and supply of marine propulsion systems. This collaboration is set to enhance GRSE’s capabilities in the manufacturing of propulsion-related equipment and systems. It will focus particularly on current and future government maritime projects. The alliance seeks to combine Berg’s advanced technology and GRSE’s manufacturing excellence to meet both domestic and international marine engineering demands.
On June 6, 2025, GRSE also signed a MoU with SunStone, a Danish company known for its expertise in expedition cruise vessels. This MoU marks the beginning of a promising partnership in the cruise ship segment. GRSE and SunStone plan to explore collaborative opportunities in the design, development, and construction of expedition vessels, catering to a growing market segment in leisure and tourism shipping.
On June 9, 2025, Garden Reach Shipbuilders share price (NSE: GRSE) opened at ₹3,340.50, down from its previous close of ₹3,252.20. At 9:44 AM, the share price of GRSE was trading at ₹3,302.70, up by 1.55% on the NSE. Notably, the stock price touched its 52-week high at ₹3,532.20 on June 5, 2025.
