Indra Group has had a strong presence in India for several years, providing cutting edge systems across defence and civil sectors. Their contributions include delivering advanced systems to India’s Armed Forces and undertaking projects for the modernisation of civil air traffic management.
This collaboration with Axiscades builds on that foundation by localising production and improving the agility of services offered to Indian clients.
The manufactured solutions include complex systems that play a crucial role in aviation safety and defence. Tactical Air Navigation Systems help in accurate aircraft positioning, Distance Measuring Equipment ensures in-flight distance accuracy, while the countermeasure systems protect aircraft against missile threats.
Together, these technologies form part of an integrated defence system that is critical for both military and civil aviation operations.
Axiscades’ share price hit the 5% upper circuit at the opening bell on June 17, 2025, with the stock opening at ₹1,278.10.
The agreement between Indra Group and Axiscades represents a strategic move to boost the production of advanced aerospace and defence systems within India. It reinforces Indra’s commitment to collaboration and local industry development, while expanding its global network and technology leadership in the aviation safety and defence sectors.
