CFF Fluid Control Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd (GRSE), a Government of India undertaking. Announced on 15 July 2025, this strategic alliance is aimed at enhancing CFF’s footprint in the Naval & Marine Systems segment.

Joint Development of Subsea Sonar Systems

The MoU signifies a significant step towards the development of advanced defence technologies. CFF, known for its expertise in critical naval ship and submarine systems, will collaborate with GRSE to develop subsea-based sonar systems. GRSE brings decades of shipbuilding experience, specialising in the design, construction, and repair of warships and commercial vessels. The companies will jointly pursue and execute contracts related to sonar and marine technologies by pooling their domain strengths and technical capabilities.

According to the official statement, “This MoU marks a strategic step towards enhancing CFF’s portfolio in Naval & Marine Systems.” It underlines the companies’ mutual commitment to advance indigenous defence solutions and strengthen the nation’s maritime infrastructure.

Strengthening Naval Defence Capabilities

The collaboration not only enhances CFF’s technological base but also supports national objectives under ‘Make in India’ by encouraging homegrown innovation in defence manufacturing. This partnership is expected to boost project efficiency, encourage knowledge sharing, and help both entities cater to the increasing demand for high-performance naval systems. It also sets the stage for expanded opportunities in marine engineering contracts within India and potentially overseas.

As of July 16, 2025, at 03:07 PM,  CFF Fluid Control share price is trading at ₹658.30, reflecting a gain of 5.29%. Over the past month, the stock has gained by approximately 4.94%.
