Bharat Forge Shares in Focus: Launched QIP At a Floor Price of ₹1,323.54

Bharat Forge Ltd has approved the launch of its Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP), with the floor price for the equity issue set at ₹1,323.54 per share. This decision was made by the company’s Investment Committee during a meeting on Wednesday. The QIP was approved following prior approval from the Board of Directors and shareholders via a postal ballot.
The company announced that its trading window has been closed since September 25, 2024, and will remain closed until further notice, specifically for the QIP process
Floor Price Determination
The floor price of ₹1,323.54 per share has been determined in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations. The ‘Relevant Date’ for the issue is December 4, 2024. As per a special resolution passed by shareholders on November 8, 2024, Bharat Forge may offer a discount of up to 5% on the floor price during the QIP process. Bharat Forge will submit the preliminary placement document to BSE Ltd. and NSE on Wednesday, initiating the QIP process.
Bharat Forge Q2 FY25 Results
During Q2 FY25, Bharat Forge reported a mixed financial performance. The company’s revenue for the quarter remained nearly unchanged at ₹2,246 crore, compared to ₹2,249 crore during the same period last year. Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹361.1 crore, reflecting a 4.4% growth from ₹346 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Bharat Forge expects stable performance in the second half of the current financial year compared to the first half, focusing on revenue growth and improving profitability within its subsidiaries.
